Tlhalefang Primary School sits in the outskirts of Lichtenburg, in the direction of Ottosdal, and 23KM away from the town. It sits deep in a farmstead that is not as productive as it used to.
The school was built by the owner of the farm, it was a two-class school at first with a storeroom in separating the classes and has since grown to six classes through some efforts put in by the locals in order to try and improve the education level in the area and develop their children further.
Through a string of acquaintances and by a twist of fate, Tlhalefang primary school was brought to the attention of 67 ACTS ® It is at this very time that members of the organization had been looking to practice what they preach. On the 4th of December we went to ‘take a look’ and having seen, the planning process started with objectives being set out, a summary of which are the following;
